I'm a painter from Aspen Colorado now Living in LA.​



Growing up in Colorado being surrounded by the majestic Rockies it gives one much to be inspired by. Yet being so far from the ocean maybe thats why I have such a tremendous interest in the depths and the beautiful creatures that are in it.

At a young age I took to art quickly. But it is in the family, my mother is also quite the accomplished artist. For many years my interest were in pencil drawings and clay. I truly love throwing and sculpting and I still have many of the things I made and use to this day. In college snowboarding took over my life for seven years where I did little to no art. Then I made the move to Los Angeles California. It was a friend that got me back into art. She invited me to join her at a painting and wine drinking class. we painted an owl and though I thought what I did was ok It was not something I thought about really. Then when my best friend came to visit from Colorado she saw the Owl painting and loved it. So I gave it as a gift and then just a few months later she commissioned me for my first Painting. Up until that point I have really never done an acrylic painting and this was to be a large six foot by three foot three panel pice. (This is the painting at the top of the page).  From that point on it was all history.
